It grows only in this one place in the world. Taborskie Forests stretch from Miłomłyn, through Tabórz to Stare Jabłonki. The specific microclimate of the place makes the pines that grow in Stare Jabłonki adopt unique features - they are tall, have few knots, and their growth rings are tiny. Thanks to these features, during the geographical discoveries they became famous and were said to be the best boatbuilding material in the world - the masts of nearly all European flags were built from the Taborska Pine wood. Perhaps Christopher Columbus himself had his mast built from the Masurian Pine. Today, our „tall, straight like arrows” pine trees create a beautiful forest with the scent of resin and essential oils.
