The surface of Lake Szeląg Mały, by which the Anders Hotel is located, is 83.8 ha, depth about 15 m, the maximum length is about 2700 m, and the maximum width is 580 m.

The lake is connected by a canal with the Lake Szeląg Wielki. The owner and host of Lake Szeląg Mały is the Fisheries Farm in Ostróda. In terms of fishing, the lake is very attractive. The most numerous populations of fish include: zander, pike, bream, perch, eel, tench and roach. On the shore line belonging to the Anders Hotel there are several jetties, from which fishing is allowed. In addition, it is possible to rent a rowing boat, which makes the lake more accessible when it comes to fishing. Fishing permits can be obtained at the hotel’s reception.
